Visit with Uncle Terry and Sherri

They came up for their grandson's highschool graduation and we discovered that Stephanie lives fairly close to me. So we were able to squeeze in two visits. One on saturday night  in which Addy met them for the first time.  And one on Sunday morning. Oh it was too much fun. We got caught up on all the children and grandchildren and revisited the old discussion about WHO is the favorite neice. Of course it was me.  But we all know that if we was visiting Cari it would be Cari and if he was visiting Jana it would be Jana. Nevertheless.........lol....... in my house in the absence of my sisters, I am the favorite neice!

 The three of us again. I think I haven't seen them in more than 5 years.

We spent the evening Drinking Turkish coffee and Addy'd tea. I made Uncle terry chocolate chip cookies (I know he is spoiled right?)

And the next morning we discovered we are old too old to drink massive amounts of caffiene at night.

Still we had a great time.

I like this picture. What I like most about it is that the computer hides the jelly butt!

Stamping Up Party With the Girls 06/04/11

Today's party was so much fun.

These are party favors that Kerri's friend Mary made.

I love them espicially the cone. It was cute and they were all filled with candy.

 Mary I hope I get a chance to meet you I heard lovely things about you and your papercrafting talents! Thank you for sharing with us even though you couldnt be here.

I have a picture of Kerri's dog Carter but where  is Kerri?

Kerri you are slippery when it comes to getting your picture taken.

Carter was very well behaved,. he didnt make cards, but he did go for a long walk with Ken, Kerri's husband. Afterwards he got to eat whipped cream  and he was very cute with whipped cream whiskers.

This is our new friend Amber who made beautiful cards. I hope we see you again!

And Melissa who looks beautiful.

She is moving to Texas at the end of the month and we will miss her terribly.

She is signing up to be a demonstrator and I know she will have great girly card making parties with her friends and family in Texas but WE WILL MISS HER! Love ya Melissa.

Ok this was a little fun. We had a tatoo exhibit. And what could be photographed, we photographed, and then gave them stamping up color names.

I am thinking I will use it as inspiration for  card.

And from making cards,  to tatoo exhibits, we come to great food. Kerri spoiled us with such yummy treats

These were to DIE for. Shirley found the recipe and we tried it. These were made with butter

peanut butter, bacon fat, bacon, honey roasted peanuts and chocolate chips! 

When we weren't baking, we were making cards.  Below are a few of my favorites. And that big BLACK MONSTER is her cat VICKI who likes to scrapbook with us.
